Habitat: Lowland tropical rainforest eucalyptus, mangrove, tea tree groves, and beaches. Each adult Cassowary maintains a home range or territory of about 100Ha.
Endangered Status: Vulnerable with only 1200 or 1500 cassowaries left in Australia.
Behavior: They are solitary animals, however; they are caring to their chicks and help them reach adulthood.
